The Department of Classics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for an open-rank position in Classical Archaeology. An active program of fieldwork and specialization in Roman archaeology are desirable. Applicants should have the Ph.D. in hand at time of application; indicate teaching and research interests that are complementary to existing strengths in the archaeology program (www.classics.unc.edu ); and demonstrate excellence in research and a serious commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
