An active program of fieldwork and specialization in Roman archaeology are desirable. Applicants should have the Ph.D. in hand at time of application; indicate teaching and research interests that are complementary to existing strengths in the archaeology program ( ); and demonstrate excellence in research and a serious commitment to teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
