An Explorator reader (Tijl Vereenooghe ... thanks) alerted me this a.m. to the discovery of remains of an obviously colossal head of Hadrian at the excavations of the Roman baths at Sagalassos. Unfortunately there is no press coverage in English yet ... a Dutch link has already expired (?), but there is a brief item in Turkish. More interesting, though, is a page of photos of the find ... very nice stuff ...
